116 Freshmen Orientation Programme
Freshmen Orientation 2010 has finally come to an end. :)
The four days of Orientation was filled with activities except one day which was much lighter compared to others. :)
DFI 1A/04 : Total madness :D
Day 1 - 12 April'10
First met up with LiTing, Melissa, Isabelle, ChenWei & Kevin before proceeding to SP. Upon reaching SP, we separated our ways while Liting and I went to register ourselves together with Serene. School of business is kind of far from the MRT station. :/
Reaching the venue, there were many people queuing up for we-don't-know-what initially. As though some sheeps, we followed suit. :P It was to register ourselves actually. Then, we separated our ways once again.
Some introduction from the course manager and I don't remember who. Yesyesyes, I've poor memory. Or it's another reason that I didn't pay attention. Some games to begin with. "Good morning!" game to introduce ourselves and get to know our classmates as well. There's 7-up, 2 truths 1 lies and some random bombing. I guess there's nothing else ? 'Cause it was lunch time. :)
Btw, the facilitators for my class are awesome ! :D Seven & Wylie (Y)
Following lunch was some station games. Separated from the class and we are divided into groups of 8 I think, within the course. A mixture of different classes. Group name : Dynamite Dragons. Group leader was Dean. Well, everyone was friendly. :/ (Don't ask me why this smiley)
Several stations such as Charade, Spider Web (never ever, never), Colours steps, transporting water to bottle with holes and number games. If the name sounds weird, I just name them randomly by what I can recall what they are about. I think I make a fool out of myself when doing the charade. HAHA!
Yes, finally everything ended and it's time to head home. Met up with Leonard Hoe @ Dover MRT. Thank you very much for waiting for me. :D 'Cause my handphone battery died on me half way the games. :( Couldn't find him since I don't remember his number. && he couldn't contact me either. Nonetheless, a great thanks to you ! :D
Day 2
A day that began with speeches from principal and I don't remember who and performances. Following was lunch break then amazing race. I never like amazing race ever since the one I had in Sentosa in Sec3 with the Sports CCA Leaders. HAHAHA. Although I would say the Sentosa Amazing Race wasn't that bad and tiring as compared to the one I had in SP.
The day wasn't really a good one because it didn't begin well in the first place ! I felt horrible terrible vegetable wanting to vomit. Rawrs, bad bad bad. Amazing race ended and everything. It was early released ! :)
Despite the fact that we didn't come in Top 5, it was a good one nonetheless. :)
Day 3
SPICE training in the morning for about 2 hours. It was considered a very light one since we were even able to go online, watch videos, facebook etc. Hahaha. I was on ears with the trainer ('kay, I forgotten her name) until she paced faster and faster. Eventually I lost track.
Lunch break then returned to classroom to meet PTN (personal tutor network) ; Ms.Alison Ho. In the classroom was complete freedom and slack-ness. Kind of bored plus it was freezing chilly cold like north pole.
DFI 04 was enthusiastic ! Discussed about class bonding or our own 'party' since we planned not to attend the Welcome Party the next day. Movie outing together with buddy class ; 03. Not bad not bad. For the first time I agreed on going without much hesitation. HAHAHA, laugh out loud.
Returned home with Leonard Hoe & Hazel ! :D 哈则林,haven't seen you for a loooong time !
Day 4
SP's annual flag day. It was for the president challenge. Well, love the location appointed to DFI. It's Yishun and I don't have to wake up that early as compared to some others. :) Whooo, it's just for a day though. :/ An experience since I never did flag day before.
Guess who I saw when I was @ the underpass ??? Coach Du ! He just walked pass right in front of me without donating. How great. Ha, joking joking. :)
After flag day, returned back to SP to calculate kaa-chingggg. Moving on was movie @ Orchard Cineleisure. Watched Date Night. :D Nice one and I don't mind watching again ? Gosh, is this QiuXuan ? I'm doubting... :/
